“Gymnastics has been a part of my life since I was 7 years old. I competed in club through Level 10 before accomplishing my goal of earning an athletic scholarship to compete at UC Davis. It was a dream of mine to compete in college and I had a wonderful experience.

I was named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Co-Gymnast of the Year twice and served as team co-captain in my final year. After my days as a gymnast were over, I began my college coaching career at Ball State University as a graduate assistant coach while pursuing a master’s degree.

After 2 years at Ball State I moved to Logan, UT for a job as an assistant coach at Utah State University. I coached at Utah State for 4 years before transitioning into an administrative role as an Academic Coordinator with Student-Athlete Academic Services. I have always had a passion for academics along with my love for gymnastics and I really enjoyed helping others manage the balance of student-athlete life while pursuing their academic goals and dreams!

In 2019, I moved to Colorado Springs to serve as an assistant coach at the United State Air Force Academy for the 2020 season before it was cut short by the pandemic. I’m back in Logan now with my husband Kevin, who I met while working at Utah State. He works in the Student Involvement office and we and our two young children enjoy all of the outdoor adventures that Utah has to offer. I was the first athlete from my club gym to compete on a college team and while the experience was unknown and sometimes intimidating, I had a very enjoyable recruiting process. Because of that experience, recruiting was one of my favorite parts about being a college coach. I love helping others find their perfect college fit, academically and athletically. I can’t wait to share my love of gymnastics with you, and to use my experiences as a student- athlete, coach, and academic coordinator to help you with your journey!
